Students who do not believe in standardized tests or do not think they reflect their performance are to send to graded social science papers in order for the admission’s committee to evaluate. The BA in American Studies provides students with the opportunity to study the American experience in relation to other cultures and in its diversity. The objective of the program is to illustrate America’s social and cultural development, making an emphasis on narratives of the American past. The Program is one of the most interdisciplinary in the college and it wants to highlight the diversity of the American culture and people through the exposure to many disciplines. The program is ranked among the best American Studies Programs in the country.
