Basic Information (Description):
The BA in Anthropology offers students an opportunity to study human diversity and human behavior from a cross-cultural point of view. The curriculum focuses on core courses in theory, methodologies, and cultures; students can then pick a “mild” concentration on archaeology, sociocultural anthropology, or Alaska studies. The department believes that students should get a strong foundation on the basic concept, theories, and scholarship, in order to then be able to pick a more in depth concentration at the graduate level.
