Basic Information (Description):
The BA in Ethnicity, Race, and First Nation Studies is a very unique program. The curriculum focuses on a comparative and comprehensive study of diversity in terms of ethnicity, race, and first nations. Students are required to enroll in an internship program in communities near the university. Courses focus on how different races, ethnicities, and nations shape literatures, policies, communities, and people’s identities in the US and internationally as well. The program is very comprehensive and peculiar, in the sense that it focuses on race and ethnicity, but also on the first nation concept.
