Admission process is highly selective. The school looks for the future government and business leaders. The committee considers the high school transcript the most important aspect of the application, but very strong consideration is given to essays, letters of recommendations, extra curricular activities, and standardized tests scores. A successful candidate will have taken demanding courses in high school and will have succeeded in all the activities they have enrolled in high school and extracurricularly.
Basic Information (Description):
The Chicano Studies program offers students an opportunity to study, interpret, research, and investigate the Latino/Chicano experience mainly in the West and Southwest. The program is in essence interdisciplinary and offers courses and activities in other close by colleges to complement the overall experience.
