Admission requirements to Wellesley College is very academically rigorous. Students must submit their high school transcripts, and prove that they have pushed themselves through accelerated or advanced-level courses. Students should also take the SATs (the average score being, 700 in Verbal, 694 in Writing, and 687 in Math).

The BA in Latin offers student the opportunity to learn about the ancient Roman civilization through language, literature, and literature analysis. Students are required to complete at least eight units in the department, of which four units should be above the 300 level in Latin.
