Admision Requirements:
Freshmen admission is based on an evaluation of a range of factors including high school course work, ACT composite score or SATI, cumulative high school percentile ranking (HSPR) at the end of the junior year, activities, service, previous work, and information provided in the student's essays. All applicants must complete the Personal Statement and should include information on their interest/experience in the intended major.
Basic Information (Description):
The BA in Communication & Culture offers students the training of their accute critical thinking skills. The curriculum focuses on contemporary and historical American and World culture, on making students active participants in the democratic culture, how to effectively read and write, and how to see ties between every day life issues and larger corporations, business, and the government. Students are required to take 30 hours credits in courses such as : introduction to media, introduction to communication and culture, and many alike in the department.
