Admission to the University of Maryland is based on academic performance. The committee focuses on previous academic achievement and extracurricular activities to make a decision. Students must show that they have taken in high school, at least four units of English, two unit of Mathematics, three units of Social Sciences, two units of Physical Education, and electives. Students are also required to have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Students holding an AA degree or two years of coursework at a College or University are eligible for this BA program.
Basic Information (Description):
The BS in Simulation and Digital Entertainment offers students the opportunity to develop and create interactive software applications, focusing on the entertainment industry. the program emphasizes game development and the professional use of simulation in all fields. Students take courses in the field, enroll in an internship program, and a capstone seminar in order to get a well-rounded education.
