The recommended high school curriculum includes: four years of English, three to four years of Mathematics, three to four years of laboratory science, here to four years of social science, and two to four years of foreign language. The major in Economics offered by the Boston University offers students the possibility to tackle issues that affect as all, and to do research in the most salient economic and social issues that concern the Economics discipline. The BA in Economics program at BU requires 32 four-credit courses to be completed. The major requires 9 core courses with a grade of C or higher, three of which should be Statistics, Intermediate Macroeconomic Analysis, and Intermediate Microeconomics Analysis.
