Admission requirements to Wellesley College is very academically rigorous. Students must submit their high school transcripts, and prove that they have pushed themselves through accelerated or advanced-level courses. Students should also take the SATs (the average score being, 700 in Verbal, 694 in Writing, and 687 in Math).
Basic Information (Description):
The BA in Economics offers students the possibility to build a strong foundation in economic theory and methods, and to tailor their major to their individual interest through the advanced theory/field courses. Students are required to take six core courses (Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Introduction to Probability and Statistical Methods, Econometrics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Intermediate Microeconomics), two advanced level courses, and one other course.
