Students are also required to take introductory chemistry courses as well as education courses before declaring the major.

Basic Information (Description):

The Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education in Chemistry allows students to become educators and teach in the seventh trough the 12th grade. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and integrated, in order for students to get a holistic kind of college education. Students are required to enroll in the internship program in schools, and some courses are taught in the school environment as well. The program is suited for those students who wish to become secondary school teachers in the chemistry area.
