Admision Requirements:
Admission to the University of Maryland is based on academic performance. The committee focuses on previous academic achievement and extracurricular activities to make a decision. Students must show that they have taken in high school, at least four units of English, two unit of Mathematics, three units of Social Sciences, two units of Physical Education, and electives. Students are also required to have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Basic Information (Description):
The early childhood teacher program offers students the opportunity to get preparation, skills, and the necessary practice to understand the development of children. The curriculum covers child development, research methods, extensive observations, field experience in the Center for Young Children, and the right integration of children within their family and community.
