Admission requirements include the following: a high school preparation of at least four year of English, three years of mathematics, two years of science, and three years of social science; and strongest candidates will have taken honors or advanced placement courses. Students who have not taken this preparation will also be considered on the basis on high school record, scores on standardized tests (SAT I or the ACT with writing), and recommendation of school officials. Candidates are also recommended to have an interview and visit the school. Other factors are also considered, such as community involvement, artistic abilities, and sense of humor.

Basic Information (Description):

The Studio Art program offers students an opportunity to explore art form various means. Students are required to complete Comps, which are independent studio projects which run from the beginning of fall term through their exhibition at the college art gallery. Unfortunately, the Art Department’s website does not provide a specific program overview for students to know what the long term and short term objectives are
