Basic Information (Description):
The BA in History provides students with an opportunity to investigate the past and its connections with the present. Studying the failures or success of our past society we may deal with them more effectively in our contemporary society. The curriculum includes courses in American and European history, Russian history, African history, Chinese history, and senior courses which analyze more in depth particular “pieces of history.” Students also have an opportunity to wok on their research and writing skills, choosing relevant and interesting topics that add to the existing knowledge in the discipline. The major seems to be well-developed and interesting.
