The BA in History offers students an opportunity to understand the past in a critical way as well as the development of rhetorical skills. Students take courses based on the many different periods of history and in different geographical regions; offering students an opportunity tot explore some themes in great depth. The program’s aim though, is for students to start thinking historically, reason historically, know the methods used in history to do research, the evidence used in history, and debate historically. The major seems extremely serious and committed to the utmost development of its students.
