Admission requirements to Wellesley College is very academically rigorous. Students must submit their high school transcripts, and prove that they have pushed themselves through accelerated or advanced-level courses. Students should also take the SATs (the average score being, 700 in Verbal, 694 in Writing, and 687 in Math).
Basic Information (Description):
The BA in History offers students the opportunity to gain deep insight in History's breadth, depth, and perspective. Students are required to take at least one course in the history of Africa, China, Japan, Latin America, the Middle East, or South Asia; one unit in the history of Europe, the United States, or Russia; one unit in pre-modern history; and at least one seminar. Additionally, students are required to focus in one specific field of study: being this a particular geographical area, country, culture, time period, historical theme or Historical approach.
