Admission requirements to Wellesley College is very academically rigorous. Students must submit their high school transcripts, and prove that they have pushed themselves through accelerated or advanced-level courses. Students should also take the SATs (the average score being, 700 in Verbal, 694 in Writing, and 687 in Math).

The BA in Medieval/Renaissance Studies offers student an opportunity to explore the rich and varied European and Mediterranean civilizations from the Greco-Roman times to the Renaissance. The major focuses on history, art, music, literature, and religion. Students are encouraged to take courses in different department, as well as to focus in one specific area in the department. Some of the courses offered are: Monster, Villains, and Wives; Arthurian Legend; Medieval Women Writers; and Tales of Love.
