Basic Information (Description):

The BA in Philosophy offers students an opportunity to study the main questions and movements in the discipline as a way to approach current philosophical inquiries. Faculty interests include: American Philosophy, Contemporary Philosophy, 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy. Courses include: Ancient Philosophy, Ethics, Philosophy of Art, Asian Philosophy, Pragmatism, Philosophy of Law, Political Philosophy, among many others. Students are highly encouraged to study abroad in England in the East Anglia Program.
