Admission requirements are: Graduation from high school with GPA of at least 2.5 and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test (high school graduates with GPAs between 2.0 and 2.49 will be admitted on probation); or a successful completion of the GED, and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test.
Basic Information (Description):
The BA in International Studies offers students the opportunity to explore through the comparative approach issues across the world. Students can then pick their area of concentration according to their interests. The capstone course requires that students apply the analytical skills, the comparative methods, the theories, and practices they have learned throughout the year in a special research project, relevant to the student and the discipline. Tracks available are: Russia, Canada, Europe, and Northeast Asia.
