Admision Requirements:
Admission requirements are: Graduation from high school with GPA of at least 2.5 and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test (high school graduates with GPAs between 2.0 and 2.49 will be admitted on probation); or a successful completion of the GED, and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test.
Basic Information (Description):
The minor in International Studies offers students the opportunity to explore the world, through the comparative method. Students are required to take courses in core regions in the world, such as Canada, Russia, East Asia, and Europe. Students are required to take 20 credits in the department, all focusing on core regions and then picking a few electives based on their own interest.
