The Admission’s Committee at Franklin and Marshall evaluates student’s high school academic records, to weigh in the type and quality of classes taken, high school ranking, and the quality of the high school; an official recommendation of the student’s guidance counselor, headmaster, principal, or college adviser, and a recommendation letter or letters form teachers; SAT I or ACT scores; extra-curricular and leadership activities. Students who do not believe in standardized tests or do not think they reflect their performance are to send to graded social science papers in order for the admission’s committee to evaluate.
Basic Information (Description):
A BA in Dance offers students an opportunity to become dancers. Dancers, who can create, move, write, evaluate, move, and see dance as an expression of history, culture, and individuality. The curriculum is equally divided into theory and practice, and all aspects in the classroom have their counter studio part. Students are required to complete eleven courses in: dance courses (four in performance and four in history, theory, and analysis), a capstone course, and advanced electives in design, Technical Theater, among many others.
