Dickinson College Pennsylvania, USA / 717-243-5121, harpermc@dickinson.edu http://dickinson.edu/academics/program.cfm?theatre The Admission’s Committee at Dickinson College evaluates student’s: high school academic records, to weigh in the type and quality of classes taken, high school ranking, and the quality of the school; an official recommendation of the student’s guidance counselor, headmaster, principal, or college adviser, and a recommendation letter or letters form teachers; SAT I or ACT scores are not required for admission, but are required for those students applying for scholarships; and extra-curricular and leadership activities. The BA in Dance & Theater offers students an opportunity to explore the many dimensions of dance and theater. Students are exposed to the technical, performance, theoretical, historical, and cross-cultural aspects of the disciplines, being able to pick their concentration among: acting/directing, dance, dramatic literature, design/technology, or create their own concentration in consultation with the faculty. Students have the opportunity to participate in many performances in Theater or-and Dance. Courses include: Dance and Culture, Fundamentals of Dance, Modern Dance, Theater History, Design and Technology for the Theater, among many other interesting and unique courses. Students are encouraged to study abroad in London, Norwich, or at the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo (Italy). Bachelor's Degree
