Admission to the University of Maryland is based on academic performance. The committee focuses on previous academic achievement and extracurricular activities to make a decision. Students must show that they have taken in high school, at least four units of English, two unit of Mathematics, three units of Social Sciences, two units of Physical Education, and electives. Students are also required to have a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Basic Information (Description):

The Theater Program offers students an opportunity to study, design, and produce performances. The program is small, and this encourages student faculty interaction, as well as a workshop-type work setting. Students are able to perform in more than five different groups around the university and outside of it, and enroll in an internship program to apply all that has been learned in class.
