Basic Information (Description):
The BA in Allied Health offers students an opportunity to study the health sciences with an interdisciplinary approach. The curriculum includes an understanding of the human body, lectures, laboratory experiences, the study of fitness, health, and fitness. Students are required to take courses in cell biology, chemistry, statistics, developmental psychology, anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology, fitness, and directed research. Students are able to pick a concentration among: Preparatory to Physical and Occupation Therapy; preparatory to Physician Assistant; or Preparatory to Nursing.
