Requirements are: GPA 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale, an ACT 20 or higher or SAT combined score of 930 (critical reading and math scores only), and student must have completed or be in the process of completing the 16-unit preparatory core. However, students who do not meet these requirements should apply anyway and may be admitted on the basis of individual review of their applications.
Basic Information (Description):
Students are introduced to the subdisciplines of anthropology through required courses: "Introduction to Cultural Anthropology" (ANTH 1023), "Introduction to Biological Anthropology" (ANTH 1013 & lab ANTH 1011L), and "Approaches to Archeology" (ANTH 3023 & lab ANTH 3021L). "History of Anthropology Thought," a senior capstone course, fulfills the Fulbright College Writing Requirement. Elective courses, however, will allow you to explore your special interests.
