The Admissions Committee at Baylor University looks for students who have challenged themselves in and outside the classroom. Students are to express their interest to become ”Baylor Bears” and appreciate the kind of education that Baylor has to offer. Students are required to send high school transcripts (including GPA, and advanced classes), SAT or ACT results, class ranking, recommendation letters, short answer essays, and a list of all extra-curricular activities and awards.
Basic Information (Description):
The BSW offers students an opportunity to make a difference in the world. Students learn how to work with individuals, groups, families, organizations, and communities to help them live a better life. Students take courses in Social Work Research, Social policy, Marriage and Family, Human Behaviour and the Social Environment, Social Practice I, II, and III, and an Internship (among many other courses).
