Admision Requirements:
Admission requirements include the following: a high school preparation of at least four year of English, three years of mathematics, two years of science, and three years of social science; and strongest candidates will have taken honors or advanced placement courses. Students who have not taken this preparation will also be considered on the basis on high school record, scores on standardized tests (SAT I or the ACT with writing), and recommendation of school officials. Candidates are also recommended to have an interview and visit the school. Other factors are also considered, such as community involvement, artistic abilities, and sense of humor.
Basic Information (Description):
The Sociology and Anthropology Program offers students an opportunity to understand patterns of social life with a historical perspective and current diversity. The program aims at understanding and exploring how people think, live, believe, and feel in all the human cultures of the world. Students are offered extracurricular activities, study abroad opportunities, among other opportunities.
